PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level, and the one that lets you dive anywhere in the world with a buddy.

About the course
A highly-trained PADI Instructor from Diver’s Den Dive Shop will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course you will have the skills and knowledge to dive with a buddy, independent of an instructor.
The certification is made up of three parts: knowledge development (eLearning), confined water dives to practise the skills, and open water dives to apply them. We offer these as separate packages so you can start where it suits you.
