SCUBA EQUIPMENT RENTALS

At Portsmouth Scuba home of Diver's Den, we take pride in offering clean, well-maintained, and regularly serviced gear for all your SCUBA training and recreational diving needs. Whether you're gearing up for a course or an adventure dive, stop by the shop for a proper fit and a full orientation on how to use our equipment confidently.

We believe rental gear should never feel like "hand-me-downs" or outdated leftovers. That’s why we maintain a modern, high-quality rental inventory—gear you can trust for performance, comfort, and safety. From boots and hoods to regulators and BCDs, our rental equipment is comparable to the gear we sell in our shop, ensuring you get the best experience in the water.

For comfort and fit, we offer a variety of 7mm Aquaflex neoprene wetsuits—known for three times the stretch of standard neoprene. These suits are designed to fit a wide range of body types, making them easy to put on and take off while providing excellent warmth and flexibility.

Rental Rates

Bundle Pricing

• Full Kit (BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Hood, Gloves, Boots, Mask/Snorkel/Fins, Weights)

  • Daily Rate: $100

  • Weekly Rate: $350

• Dry Suit Kit (Drysuit, Regulator, BCD, Hood, Gloves, Boots, Weights)

  • Daily Rate: $140

  • Weekly Rate: $450

Bundle prices include basic accessories; extra items such as cameras or specialty gear may incur additional fees.

Pickup & Return Policy

• Rentals can be picked up the day before your dive at no additional charge.

• Please return all rental gear by noon the day after your dive to avoid additional charges.

• Late returns will incur an additional daily rental fee per item.

Terms & Conditions

I agree to return all rented equipment on the agreed return date, clean and in good condition. I understand that I am responsible for all items and will be liable for any damage, loss, or charges necessary to repair or replace the equipment.

I acknowledge that this equipment is being rented for the use of a certified diver, and I accept full responsibility for its use. I release Portsmouth Scuba, its employees, and its associates from any liability for injuries or accidents that may occur while using the rented equipment.

I have inspected the equipment prior to use and found it to be in proper working order.

We have 7mm Scubapro wetsuits, full jacket stye BCD with integrated weights, ScubaPro and Sherwood regulators, weights, steel and aluminum tanks.

All gear is serviced based on manufacturers requirements.

The Rental Gear

Please see below for the brands and prices.  The DDValue Package is certainly the best value.  When renting tanks or a package that include tanks a certification card is required, please have your card with you when you pick up your rental gear.  We also require a valid State or Federal ID.

Longer term rentals are available upon request and based on gear availability.
